John Brueggen, director of St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park in Florida news week that alligators are known to respond to human voices.

Brueggen, who works with all 24 species of crocodiles in the park, said: “I actually suspect these animals saw something, like a food pail or fish on a leash, and it perked them all up at the same time… We see everyone Tag how alligators respond to our voice signals. They are intelligent animals and fairly easy to train.”

Similarly, Lindsey Lawson, who runs a reptile farm in the United States, said news week It is evident that these alligators are used to being fed by humans.

“The response seen in this video is the result of some sort of stimulus to the left of each shot. Unfortunately, due to the limited view of the video, there’s no way to say for sure what caused the reaction, but it’s likely a visual or auditory stimulus in the form of a familiar food source,” she said.

Lawson said while all the alligators are reacting, one person can be seen in the right center of the video swimming to the left.

“Although it appears as if the larger alligator is staring directly at the person filming after they have commented, an alligator’s eyes are located on the sides of its head, giving them a wide range of vision and excellent peripheral vision. He has an excellent view of what’s going on on the left side while looking straight at them,” she said.

It’s not clear where the viral video was filmed, but alligators can be found all over the United States. They live in the Southeast and as far north as North Carolina. They are particularly common in Florida and Louisiana.
