A new weekly reset for Destiny 2 means an updated selection of seasonal challenges is available. A handful of challenges are available this week, ranging from continuing the PsiOperative tasks to some target practice with your handguns and glaives in Gambit. Now that the challenging PvE mode has returned, you can also earn rewards for completing a Grandmaster Nightfall strike.
Completing these challenges is well worth the effort as you will gain a significant amount of experience in the process. This, in turn, will help you fill up your Season Pass sooner and snag even more loot in the process. It’s a win-win situation.
Even better, you can track these seasonal challenges at your own leisure, as they only expire after a season has ended. If you decide to take a break from Destiny 2 for a week or two, you can come back and complete multiple challenges at once. To learn more about the game, you can see what’s to come in Season of the Risen, how weapon crafting is being optimized, and the latest Iron Banter column.

How do seasonal challenges work?
Seasonal Challenges can be accessed from the Quests tab in your main menu. There you will find tasks that involve eliminating specific enemies with a specific element, participating in one of the game’s new activities or completing a raid. Each challenge can be completed once per account, and around 10 new challenges are typically added each week and remain active for the duration of the season.
Completing the Season of the Risen challenges will complete the requirements for the Master of All Things seasonal challenge, which in turn will earn you a large Bright Dust reward that can be spent on select cosmetics, emotes, and items in the Eververse Store.
