Fortnite NPC locations – Chapter 3 Season 2

Since Chapter 2 Season 5, NPCs have made their home in Fortnite’s landmarks, points of interest, and key hubs. A new season of Fortnite means a new population of NPCs to meet and greet – or sometimes defeat. On the island just outside the Chapter 3 Season 2 gate are 24 NPCs ranging from returning heroes to brand new ones. Many of them offer unique weapons, perks like Storm Circle intel, and items for sale. Aside from simply filling up your collection, you’ll want to hit them all as soon as possible so you know where to find some of Fortnite’s best gameplay elements. Here’s where to find all Fortnite NPCs in Chapter 3 Season 2.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 NPC Locations

There are currently 24 NPCs on the island. While some are right where they were last season, many others are in new locations or have never been in game as NPCs before. As usual, not all NPCs are available in every round. For example, some groups of NPCs rotate in and out of locations like Camp Cuddle and The Joneses. We’ve made it clear which ones are harder to find due to variable spawn rates. Use our map below to find all NPCs for related challenges and items, and read their lore-heavy dialogue.

The reason so many NPCs are hiding is because they are part of the Resistance, the group of loopers who have taken up arms to oust the Imaginary Order. These heroic NPCs have set up makeshift Seven-technology ops stations in small, easy-to-miss rooms where we hope the IO won’t find them.

Also note which NPCs are hostile as they will shoot you on sight. However, this also means they each drop mythical weapons that are unique and can only be equipped by one person at a time as there are no duplicates. For the NPCs at The Joneses or Camp Cuddle, keep in mind that they don’t all spawn every turn.

On The Joneses, you’ll typically be missing a version or two of Jones each turn, while on Camp Cuddle, only one of the three NPCs in small colorful huts will appear each turn – alongside the ubiquitous Cuddle Team Leader – so you’ll have to go through multiple times until you meet everyone. Agent Jones and The Imagined, meanwhile, both spawn at each Seven Outpost, although they don’t seem to spawn on the same turn at the same one, so this look requires a bit of luck.

As more NPCs arrive on the island this season, we’ll be updating our list and map so you can meet them quickly and fill out your collection book all over again. For more info on Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, check out our new weapons, map changes and Battle Pass guide.
