Sega and Atlus Host Huge Eshop Sales for Nintendo 3DS and Switch

April is not only the month that spring begins, but it’s also the time when publishers usually offer huge discounts on select video games. Sony has only recently started its sales, with a short supply of offers on various PlayStation titles. This includes promotions on a variety of first-party and third-party AAA games such as: Spirit of Tsushima, grand theft auto 5and Sekiro: Shadows die twice, just to name a few. Nintendo has also started its spring sale, with limited-time offers on games published by Sega.

This Sega Spring Sale gives gamers the opportunity to save on many of the publisher’s games, which also include retro titles and released AAA hits. This sale is only running for a very limited time as it ends on April 17th at 11:59pm PT, so players should try and get one of these games if they keep an eye out. The deals themselves are pretty good too, ranging from 30% to even 75% off certain titles in the eshop.

One of these is the 50% off Ultimate Sonic Bundle, which includes three sound games – Team Sonic Racing, sound forcesand sonic mania – for only $30, a great bargain for these three Switch games. Three other releases from Sega, also discounted, include Tones: Ultimatewhich is currently being sold at a 30% discount, Super Monkey Ball banana mania 40% discount and even Persona 5 Striker half the original price. A number of classic SEGA AGES games such as fantasy star, shinobi, gain groundand leak get similar price reductions.


Interestingly, this sale also has a range of offers on the 3DS page of the eshop, covering titles specially developed by Sega and Atlus. Lots Shin Megami Tensei All games are currently 60% off, including a number of rarer games that were released early in the 3DS’s lifetime or were limited releases. This contains Shin Megami Tensei: Fel Summoner: Soul Hackerboth Shin Megami Tensei: Devil’s Survivor Games, and even the delightfully overlooked Stella’s lights. Both Person Q Games are also available for sale, although they can only be found by shopping in the 3DS Eshop and not on Nintendo’s website.


While the Switch discounts are certainly enticing, the 3DS sales are probably the more interesting part of the sale. Considering the 3DS and Wii U eshops are closing next year, these are exclusive Shin Megami Tensei and other atlus Released titles will be more difficult to play without physical copies or digital downloads. As such, fans should consider getting a discounted digital copy of it Sega Spring Sale before it’s too late.
