Streamer Narcissawright who wanted to “shoot people at Twitch HQ” will be permanently banned from the platform

The streamer known as Narcissawright has been permanently banned from Twitch. While the reason for this remains unclear, many have speculated that it could be related to their previous activity on the platform. Narcissawright has been banned multiple times. The streamer was suspended primarily over threats to “kill me and shoot people at Twitch HQ.”

Narcissawright is best known for the speedrunning Ocarina of Time. In 2018 they set a world record. Since then, the streamer has focused on Breath of the Wild.

“Twitch gave me another permanent ban today,” the content creator said announced on twitter. “I guess all the screaming and screaming responders will be happy. However, I have appealed.”

Narcissawright was banned from Twitch back in March for violating its terms of service regarding sexual content. The streamer then took to Twitter, noting, “I want to kill myself and shoot people at Twitch HQ! Hahaha.” Narcissawright went on to describe how “the internet is hell. Real life is hell too. And Twitch makes me want to die!” The content creator later claimed to have expressed frustration with the ban, denied any intention of taking such action and expressed regret over the comments. Twitch downgraded the ban to a temporary suspension.

“After reviewing your case, we can confirm that the correct enforcement has been carried out,” Twitch pointed out to the streamer. Stay up to date by familiarizing yourself with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.”

Several content creators, including Mizkif, began expressing outrage that Twitch would let Narcissawright back onto the platform. The streamer called the decision “incredible” and noted that it was “unfair” to another streamer, Destiny, who remains banned. “How is Narcissawright unbanned and how is Destiny not unbanned? It must be fake,” Mizkif said. “There is no possibility!” The content creator went on to say that there is “no comparison between what Destiny has ever said in world history to ‘I’m going to shoot Twitch HQ.’ I’m sorry but this is incredible. It’s unbelievable that this person threatened to shoot Twitch HQ and got banned for it.” JiDion expressed similar opinions.
