Today’s Wordle Answer #284: Wednesday, March 30 Solution

Welcome to another episode of “Wordle breaks my brain” where I stare at the screen for ten minutes trying to think of a word before saying “oh duh, of course it was” and getting the answer. No? Thats only me?

Anyhow, Wordle isn’t always about whether or not you’ve heard of the word, as the difficulty can also depend on your previous guesses, and what might be easy for some people may actually be much more difficult for others. That’s how I felt today, but we’ll see if you feel the same way.

An Introduction to Wordle

Today’s Wordle #284 answer

Before we continue, I’ll throw in a spoiler alert in case you happened to come here. I mean hey, it’s happening. I’m not sure how it happens, but I’ve been told it actually happens. So yes, spoilers ahead. If you want a last-minute tip, I say that the thought of it might bother you once you’re out of the house.

And the answer is…

I don’t really think about leaving the stove on when I leave the house because I pretty much only eat takeout or things I microwave. I mean, it’s not ideal, but at least I’m not stressed out because takeout is burning my house down. Sure, I’ll just go with that reasoning, why not.

As for today’s puzzle, I started with my usual CRANE, which told me there was an E at the end, and gave me exactly zero other letters. It took me a long time to think of SPIKE, a second word that didn’t use any of the other letters (many words ending in E have an A in them!). Then another ten minutes of metaphorically banging my head against the wall and the answer S blank x3 E that came to mind was STOVE, the right one. Not bad in the end, but even as a threesome I guess I’m ashamed of how long I sat and stared blankly. To be fair, part of this can be sleep deprivation in newborns.

I hope you did well today. If not, there is always tomorrow.
